    The Brief:

    Safaricom, Kenya’s first and biggest mobile telecom, was seen by the public as simply a ‘Telco’. But behind the scenes, they were doing a lot more than connecting calls. We combined a magazine style report with immersive technology to bring to life their new positioning.

    Using Layar, we embedded codes onto speci c pages on the annual report. These pages when scanned on a smartpho ne, brought the contents of the printed page to life. Allowing the reader to be transported into the future via virtual reality videos that demonstrated rsthand where Safaricom will go next in terms of technology.
