About the Role:

The Senior Account Manager – Digital, in liaison with the Digital, PR and Strategy teams plays a pivotal role in the digital  department and leads a team by developing and presenting strategic marketing recommendations. He/she gathers  key data that ensures strategies, including digital media strategies are well informed and laid out. The Senior Account  Manager – Digital understands their clients and generates plans to ensure that they achieve the desired ROI.

  • Client Services & project management 
  • Capability to devise new digital marketing strategies to increase revenue 
  • Leading and managing all advertising and marketing activities for the assigned business unit and it’s clients.
  • Commercial/Revenue Management 
  • Creating sales projections and setting objectives for assigned business unit.

Key Results Areas and Accountability: 

Strategy & Planning 

  • Gathering data to develop well-informed and effective strategic plans 
  • Researching clients and the industry to understand them, their objectives and the environment they operate in 
  • Producing inventive ideas with other members of the creative team 
  • Writing clear briefs that inspire team members to create exceptional work 
  • Analysing clients to uncover opportunities to stimulate growth 
  • Support development and execution of effective strategic marketing plans across business functions  

Client Management: 

  • Understands and articulates client strategy, can steer this with insight when required  
  • Define client challenges, lead and participate in brainstorming sessions, and evaluate creative ideas from clients  and staff 
  • Respond appropriately and immediately to client requests and concerns, and keeping clients informed of the status  of projects and day to day strategic counsel 

Talent Management and Relationship building:

  • Encouraging team members to learn and grow within the digital space Mature calm leader of internal cross functional teams – inspires teams to strive for superior client results 
  • Creates actionable development plans accompanied by effective ongoing dialogue with team members and delegate  effectively  


  • Ensure employees leave liability is <80% per quarter 
  • Degree in communication/Marketing or any other related field  
  • 5-8 years’ experience in agency/marketing/communication background  
  • Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills, and a passion for building and maintaining client and  vendor relationships 
  • The ability to lead multi-functional teams towards strategy execution 
  • Full awareness of agency processes and techniques  
  • Experience of working across several projects simultaneously, juggling the day to day work and still produce  quality work under tight deadlines 
  • Experience in managing teams  
  • Confident and assertive attitude to promote the agency’s ideas and benefits 
  • The ability to achieve results through teams and dependable 
  • Ability to judge priorities across several pieces of business and varied levels of activity 
  • Confident and mature outlook 
  • Strong analytical skills, creative disposition and have a genuine interest in consumers and brands
  • Aware of relevant trends and develop ideas 
  • Understands the business arena and the challenges faced by clients 
  • Solid judgment with high standards of accuracy, responsiveness, integrity and discretion 
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints 
  • Revenue targets (Set every year)
