POSITION OVERVIEW

The Integrated Media Manager will deliver client value through the creation of media partnerships and online media  strategies, delivering strategic brand communication to dedicated targeted audiences with a strong focus on cost-effective  media innovations. He/she gathers key data that ensures media strategies are well informed and are tailored to meet client  objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITY 

Reports to the Account Director – Digital Media Services 

KEY RESULTS AREAS AND ACCOUNTABILITY: 

  • Campaign Strategy, Planning, Implementation and Reporting 
  • Gathering data and utilizing media research to develop well-informed and effective strategic media plans 
  • Researching clients and the industry to better understand their objectives, the environment they operate in and what they  value as return on media investment 
  • Develop and execute digitally-led strategic media plans across digital, TV, print, radio, out-of-home etc setting KPIs and  tracking ROI 
  • Develop client-specific media performance evaluation frameworks that identify and track results across digital, TV, print,  radio, out-of-home etc 
  • Analyse media data to uncover emerging opportunities that stimulate business growth 
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned 

Relationship Management with Media Partners: 

  • Leverage organizational expertise to establish and cultivate key relationships with media partners across digital, TV, print,  radio, publishers, out-of-home etc 
  • Understands and articulate the client’s media strategy to media partners and lead the channel-specific implementation and  reporting routines 
  • Ensure compliance across all campaign activation channels and enforce remedial action to maximize on the client’s ROI 
  • Inform the Account Director’s response to client requests and concerns so as to keep clients informed of the status of  projects 

Commercial Management: 

  • Responsible for media budget control for projects 
  • Ensures that all work in progress can be reconciled and billed monthly 
  • Ensures that all invoices are issued quickly and correctly and that reconciliation meetings are held with media partners as  appropriate 
  • Ensures work is produced on time and within budget 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 

  • Degree in IT, Communication, Marketing or any other related field 
  • 3-5 years experience in agency/marketing/communication/Media Planning 
  • Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills, and a passion for building and maintaining client and vendor  relationships 
  • The ability to lead the execution of media projects involving multiple stakeholders and multi-functional teams 
  • Full awareness of agency processes and techniques 
  • Experience of working across several projects simultaneously, juggling the day to day work and still produce quality work  under tight deadlines 
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, Word, Excel, PPT

  • Significant experience in planning, insight and analysis. 
  • Experience in an integrated marketing, advertising or public relations agency setting 
  • Familiarity with agency planning models and capabilities 
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to articulate smart and sometimes complex solutions in a straightforward and lucid  manner to a variety of internal and external audiences 
  • Adept at developing powerful narratives to deliver insights and strategy for client buy-in

  • Client-specific Media Performance and Compliance Reports – Weekly 
  • Agency Media Reconciliation Report-Monthly 
  • Agency Media Efficiency Report – Quarterly 
  • Media Innovations – Bi-Annually
