POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Account Manager is a key client-facing role responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring best-in-class sustainability programs for our clients. The Account Manager will be an expert in guiding clients through materiality assessments, stakeholder engagement, and the production of high-quality, compliant sustainability reports. Your work will be central to delivering tangible value and advancing our clients’ corporate responsibility goals.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Key Responsibilities

Client Program Management & Sustainability Reporting

  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for key clients, building strong, trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • Guide clients in identifying their organizational stakeholders and understanding their expectations.
  • Conduct and facilitate materiality assessments to identify and rank clients’ most significant economic, environmental, and social impacts.
  • Develop implementation plans to help clients produce GRI-compliant sustainability reports that are accurate, balanced, and comparable.
  • Support the end-to-end development of clients’ annual Sustainability Reports (aligned with GRI, UN Global Compact, etc.), including data collection, content review, and managing stakeholder feedback.
  • Monitor and benchmark global sustainability reporting trends (GRI, UNGC) to provide clients with insights and recommendations for advancing their reporting practices.

Analysis & Communication

  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and compelling narratives for client reports.
  • Create evidence-based, visual summaries of sustainability performance (dashboards, scorecards, slide decks) for internal and external audiences.
  • Conduct quality reviews of client CSR reports to ensure relevance, consistency, and accuracy.

Operational Support

  • Assist with the coordination of Oxygène’s internal sustainability programs and projects.
  • Ensure strict compliance with data protection laws and company information security policies.
  • Undertake other responsibilities as assigned, based on client needs and candidate capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in consultancy or a client-side sustainability role.
  • Education: A graduate degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning, Social Sciences, Public/Business Administration, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven analytical and statistical skills with the ability to distill complex data into key takeaways.
  • Experience with corporate responsibility reporting and metrics data collection.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for corporate responsibility and social/environmental sustainability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GRI Certification is a significant advantage.
