POSITION OVERVIEW

The Account Manager has to be a top-notch Account Supervisor with consumer brand experience. One must have a strong background in PR to assist in the strategy and development of PR programs and provide strategic/solid thinking to clients. He/she must possess a mastery of all core public relations skills, including writing, editing, media relations, pitch development, and message development, and have experience in developing communications plans, account management and client relationship management.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and agency teams, ensuring alignment of objectives and clear communication
  • Provide strategic counsel and oversee the execution of communications plans
  • Manage client relationships, anticipate needs, and deliver proactive solutions
  • Lead integrated campaigns from briefing to delivery, ensuring quality and timeliness
  • Craft compelling media content—press releases, speeches, presentations, and pitch materials
  • Develop and execute media outreach strategies; build and maintain media relationships
  • Collaborate across internal teams (creative, strategy, media, digital) for cohesive campaign execution
  • Monitor budgets, project timelines, and deliverables
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and contribute to business development
  • Evaluate campaign performance and provide actionable insights
  • Support crisis communication efforts and manage sensitive client issues
  • Oversee partner/vendor relations in regard to product launches and events

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in PR or communications, preferably within an agency setting
  • Proven success managing consumer brand accounts and PR campaigns
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong media relations and messaging development experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Skilled in using social media as part of integrated campaigns
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
